Arm & Hammer Sensitive Skin Plus Skin-Friendly Fresh Scent Laundry Detergent Review

by Mama Chocolate on June 25, 2012

When we started using cloth diapers when our sweet Katie was born, I switched all of our laundry soap over to our cloth diaper-safe, unscented, hypoallergenic powdered detergent.

We’re quite happy with that detergent, and it’s been great for Victoria’s sensitive skin. But there are times when I miss the “fresh” smell from our previous laundry soaps, so I was very interested in trying out Arm & Hammer‘s new “Fresh Scent” Skin-Friendly detergent, especially designed for those with sensitive skin.

At last, the laundry solution that sensitive skin has been waiting for! A groundbreaking detergent designed for sensitive skin that smells great, too. This advanced dye-free laundry detergent is specially formulated to work in both standard washers and today’s energy-conscious High Efficiency (HE) models and it has a fragrance designed and clinically tested to be gentle on sensitive skin. Helps eliminate tough dirt and odors—all with a light, skin-friendly scent that leaves clothes smelling great.

We’ll probably keep using the unscented powdered detergent for our cloth diapers, (because I’m weird and crunchy like that,) but I am pleased to have an option for our clothes laundry when I want it to have that lovely fresh smell coming out of the dryer.

Since it’s liquid, it’s also handy to have around for my cold water, gentle washes, or for hand-washables. I don’t have to worry about dissolving issues, (which I’ve had with cold water washes with the brand I use regularly.)

I’ve used it on our sensitive Victoria’s clothing several times now, and she’s had no trouble whatsoever! If you’re looking for a good detergent that has that freshly-washed laundry scent, but will not irritate your sensitive-skinned baby, give Arm & Hammer’s new detergent a try!

This is what I use for my baby’s eczema prone skin too. Great review!

This detergent worked well for us! Back when we were using cloth, I used a different Arm & Hammer detergent and never had any issues!

I am always looking for great detergent. Lil C has had sensitivity randomly to some detergents… and it never fails – its after like using a specific detergent for like a year (when you think that there’d be no signs ) I love having options!
