Baby K’Tan Carrier Review & Giveaway

by Mama Chocolate on April 21, 2012

*review by Katelyn F.

One thing I have discovered after having a baby and two toddlers is that setting the baby down on the couch while I do something just doesn’t work anymore.

In fact, it’s downright dangerous to his health! The swing isn’t quite as safe as it once was, either…

The Baby K’tan Baby Carrier has been a nice solution!

It comes in this nice bag that, for once, won’t get lost right away, because when you flip it inside-out like so:

…it becomes the band you use to wrap around the front!

This is what it looks like spread out. It is REALLY simple and easy to put on, which is a BIG bonus for me.

My other carrier is so long that it takes a while to wrap on and the ends are always getting dirty when I put it on outside my home. This one is small, quick, and simple.

This video from Baby K’tan shows the comparison and how much quicker it is to put on than a traditional wrap carrier:

The one downside is that they are not one-size-fits-all… and my husband and I are different sizes. Since I am the one who does most of the baby-wearing, that hasn’t been a big issue for us, but it may be an important consideration when you make your carrier choice.

I like having my darling newborn boy snug and close to me while I work around the house. He is liking it so much that he promptly falls asleep every time I put him in!

Features of the Baby K’tan Baby Carrier

Double-Sling Design:

  • Rests on both shoulders
  • Multiple wearing positions holds babies 8lb to 35lb
  • Double loop provides extra security for baby

No wrapping involved! (see the video above!)

  • Easy to put on with no wrapping!
  • Less fabric than a wrap
  • Comes ready to wear
  • Simple to remove

100% soft cotton carrier:

  • No buckles, rings or snaps
  • Multiple positions
  • Machine washable and dryer safe

Visit the Instructions Page to see the variety of holds the Baby K’tan Baby Carrier is capable of!

Baby K’tan is generously giving one lucky Mama Chocolate reader their very own Baby K’tan Baby Carrier!
