It’s no secret that I love cloth diapering.
But I know some families can’t afford cloth diapering or it isn’t do-able for them, (think: laundromats,) but they still want a safer, more eco-friendly option for their babies.
Even most of us “Fluff Addicts” use disposables now and then. I have while camping, during a nasty diaper rash, or while my girls are being baby-sat.
Until now, I’ve hated it. It makes me cringe now putting that Huggies on my little girl, knowing what I know about it’s chemical content. Disposables are filled with nasty chemicals, they stink, and they’re not at all “green.”
Not anymore!
You can now find disposable diapers that are made with an eco-friendly manufacturing process, certified free from harmful chemicals, and 75% biodegradable, (as opposed to the 35% in standard diapers,) at Bambo Nature!
I won a package of these diapers at Misadventures of a Family of 8 in May, and I loved them.
I knew these had to be part of my “Natural Baby” package for Blogtastic Extravaganza.
- Like cloth, they are fully breathable.
- They’re non-toxic and hypoallergenic, (perfect for my sensitive Victoria!)
- Bambo’s diapers are, hands-down, the softest disposable diaper I have ever seen (er…felt?)
- I have not ONCE had a leak with Bambo!
- They stay on really well, and are actually easier to re-fasten if necessary, (they keep their “sticky” better.)
- They are now available on Amazon
, and they are planning on setting up the “Subscribe & Save” option to make them even more affordable!
