From the beginning with my first baby, I have always known I wanted her bed by my side at night. I am not by nature a worry-wart, but that has started to change since I’ve become a mother. I just want to have my baby as close as possible so I don’t need to get up and down all night whenever I need to check to see if she’s breathing…again. (Admit it, you do it, too.)
Many bedrooms aren’t set up to be able to accommodate a full sized crib next to the bed, or the bedroom is simply too small to fit a big crib anywhere in the room, and a smaller bassinet is needed.
But how much furniture is this baby going to need?! It can seriously pile up fast, and before you know it, your floor space is overtaken by gear for this itty-bitty person.
As a mom, I soon came to realize that multi-function tools and furniture were invaluable, and the Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet is exactly that – multi-functional.
Besides its diverse uses, this bassinet is beautiful! The fabric is a lovely and conveniently gender-neutral shade, and the solid wood frame gives a classy look and provides excellent stability.
The bassinet is easily rolled around, even in our carpeted bedroom, (with a super easy brake system on the wheels to keep it stable.)
Recommended for babies up to 15 pounds or about 3 months old, the bassinet is easily converted into a changing table when you’re done with the bassinet part. (Use the changing table for up to 25lbs.)
In fact, it is so easily converted (I can do it one-handed while holding a baby, boo-ya) that I actually use the changing table already during the day hours (since I am holding or wearing her for much of her napping times) and then just take it off and store it away under the bassinet at night.
You can see that it becomes a second handy-dandy shelf to store diapers and extra baby things while the bassinet is in use.
A simple, elegant skirt covers up the changing table shelf when it’s set below, giving a pleasing, clean look to the whole piece of furniture.
I’m not into the “cutesy” baby gear, and my husband is even less so, making the Classique Bassinet the perfect option for our home and our babies.
I love the ample storage space. I can keep my diaper bag and all the newborn diapers and supplies easily on the bottom shelf and it all looks tidy and neat!
The hanging storage organizer and diaper stacker makes for even more space to hold the hundred-and-one things you need on hand for baby. We cloth diaper, but this is the perfect spot to keep a stack of ‘sposies for emergencies (didn’t get the diaper laundry done in time again, whoops!)
Besides a lovely bassinet and convenient changing table, the Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet is also a moses basket! The “basket” is easily lifted out to take along with you for traveling. You could even use this to keep baby in the same room as you during the day hours. We haven’t used it much yet since with two rambunctious toddlers scampering around, having her down on the ground would be exceedingly hazardous to our Elanora’s health. 
I plan on taking this with us in a few weeks when I take the girls up and spend the weekend at my parents’ house. So easy to just pop it in the trunk and then have a nice little space for her while we are up there without having to mess with setting up a port-a-crib.

My blessed sister-in-law came over during the week before Elanora was born and put the bassinet together for me while I watched and panted in our 145-degree house, (no joke, folks.) It didn’t take her long, and the instructions were easy to follow. She managed it with apparent ease, even as 4 busy little girls (all 3-years-old and under!) clambered all around (and on!) her, so I’m thinking either she has super-ninja bassinet assembly skills or it is simply quick to assemble. Probably both.

Actually, the thing I saw on their site that I loved the most is the bassinet you reviewed here, because we’re in a tiny place and need small, versatile furniture. I looked at their standard bassinet too, but like the Contours better.

I’m due in about a month with my 3rd. We’ve always co-slept, and are planning on doing so again. But as I am not looking forward to the showers-are-a-luxury-becuase-I’m-always-holding-the-baby stage, I’ve been thinking about getting a bassinet of some sort, and we don’t have a changing table. This really looks like a wonderful thing to have!

There are so many great things to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one! I’d have to definitely say the bassinet is my favorite though! The Contours Classique 3-in-1 (no pink here though, I have my sixth son on the way! LOL

I am pregnant with my third and have lots of baby gear, but a bassinet would be really handy. Our second slept in our (tiny) bedroom in a pack ‘n play until he was 10 months old. It would be nice to have a little extra space!

I think the Contours Classique 3-in-1 Bassinet is my favorite thing on their website. I had just heard about this earlier this week and have been considering it for our baby (our first is due in January).

We have the Contors Options and love it but with a new little one we should prob upgrade to the tandum version.
