Dapper Snappers Review & Giveaway – 9/13

by Mama Chocolate on August 31, 2011

I have very skinny slender girls.

Yesterday, Victoria literally crawled right out of her pants, even with a cloth diaper on!

Katie’s skirts are always falling down and causing her frustration.

I know I’m not the only one with long and lean kiddos, and Dapper Snappers has come to our rescue!

The Dapper Snapper is a simple length of strong elastic with snaps, meant to be threaded through the belt loops of your child’s pants or skirt.

Dapper Snappers Clips for Toddler Belt and Women's Belt

It acts as a kids belt, but is more effective and much more convenient during potty training.

A variety of solid colors are available as well as a few cute prints.

No belt loops? You can get their add-on clips for just $3.50/pair to solve that problem! After using our Dapper Snapper for a few weeks, I am realizing that I really need to get us a pair of these clips. Katie has more skirts that are too big around the waist for her than pants, and most of Victoria’s pants don’t have belt loops.

I picked the Hot Pink color to review, and it’s working great! It has come un-snapped a few times while Katie is wearing it, but I think it was just because I had it on the tightest setting, and I could probably keep it on the bigger setting to avoid that.

What a neat invention! I’d like a blue one to blend in with jeans or a pink or purple one for my daughter

How cleaver, my son is super skinny, and now, being potty trained, we have a heck of a time keeping his pants on.

Fun stuff. :) I like the Pink Skulls snapper or the Big Girls belt in White. I think my 3 yo might be fine with the belt, but the snapper would be good to try too. I also have a 5 mo who’ll be entering that phase before I know it so I could use the snapper on her too. :) Thanks for the chance!

My little guy takes a 3T in tallness but an 18months around the waist! Can’t do overalls because of going potty. We NEED these!!!
(And, heck, I could use some along with my oldest son. We’re all tall and thin – the kind of people who always get teased about not eating…)

This is exactly what I need for my slim son. We tried a special button adapter that came unhooked within minutes. Even if I don’t win, I’m glad to finally know there is a solution! :)
