I have a Nazgul Baby

by Mama Chocolate on August 10, 2011

You would never guess the noise that comes from this sweet, innocent little doll.

Do you remember the sound that the Nazgul make in Lord of the Rings?

More unbearable they became, not less, at each new cry. At length even the stout-hearted would fling themselves to the ground as the hidden menace passed over them, or they would stand, letting their weapons fall from nerveless hands while into their minds a blackness came, and they thought no more of war, but only of hiding and of crawling, and of death.

If you’ve heard my sweet child when she’s angry or tired, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Wow, this darling has a temper, some healthy lungs, and a high-pitched scream.

It’s a deadly combination.

Just part of God’s plan for my sanctification, I guess. ;-)

I just hope hearing-aids aren’t part of the plan anytime soon…

I love this metaphor!! I may have to use it if my daughter continues her shrieking phase… ;)

Molly was the same way. We even caught it on video. She still screams REALLY loud and high pitched but now since she’s 4, she’s disciplined for it. :)

I, too, have a shrieker. I will have to view it as sanctification, too! :-)
