I love coffee.
In pretty much every form.
Unfortunately, I am discovering that I am pretty much allergic to it, but I still cave now and then and indulge.
And what a way to indulge!
I was sent three different flavors of International Delights Iced Coffees to try and I’m hooked, (this is dangerous!)
I had to make John drink up most of this for me so I wouldn’t overdose myself, but I hardly had to twist his arm.
He usually takes hot coffee with him to work, but he doesn’t really like it, and it takes about 1/3 cup sugar per cup of coffee for him to enjoy it.
This Iced Coffee, he actually likes! He takes it to work with him in his insulated mug and I keep catching him at home with another glass of it!
All three flavors sounded delicious, but for me it was no contest which one to start with, bein’ that chocolate gal that I am.
John liked the Vanilla the best but Mocha is the one for me! We both liked the Original too.
When I first tasted it, I found that it was pretty concentrated, so to make it go farther, (and also to be a little nicer to my body, which is rebelling whenever I drink too much coffee,) I added about 1 part half and half to 3 parts of the Iced Coffee.
They sent a cool reusable insulated cup with it’s own straw, but John keeps stealing it and I can’t seem to get a photo of it.
Of course, a little squirt of whipping cream on top never hurt anything.
Except your waistline maybe.
A little dusting of cocoa powder over the top, and…voila! Your own homemade coffee-shop creation!
International Delights Iced Coffees will be available in your local Walmart in the dairy section on January 15th, so be on the look-out and be sure to try these out!
