Juppy Baby Walker Review

Juppy Baby Walker ReviewDid you know that 21,000 injuries annually are related to traditional baby walkers? (according to US Consumer Product Safety Commission)

I’m not usually one to freak out about these things…no matter how we try to bubble-wrap our precious bundles, kids will still find ways to get hurt.

However, there are some easy precautions we can take, and consider these dangers associated with regular walkers.

Your baby can…

1.) Roll down stairs, causing head injuries or death

2.) Get burned. Children can reach hot liquids.

3.) Drown. A child can roll into a pool.

For me, these aren’t really issues. I don’t have stairs, I don’t leave hot liquids where even a baby in a walker could reach them, because I also have a 2 year old who can reach even higher

I don’t have a pool.

(Thank goodness. My greatest parenting fear is one of my children drowning, *shudder*)

However, I do find it interesting that baby walkers are not shown to help encourage actual solo walking in any way and research shows that they actually hinder physical development, training them to lean forward and walk improperly.

The Juppy Baby Walker, on the other hand, gives you an easy way to help your baby strengthen her legs, learn to balance, and build the confidence to walk and stand straight.

Juppy Baby Walker

Besides teaching better balance, the Juppy offers a superior alternitive to holding your baby’s hands…you don’t have to bend over the whole time you’re helping her along!

This is a huge plus in our household since John broke his back last year and I always have lingering back problems from pregnancies/labors and am not supposed to be bending over when I can help it while I heal my diasitis recti, (split stomach muscles.)

The Juppy is made from quality materials. I washed as directed and line dried and it looks as good as new still. It’s sturdy and should hold up through several children.

Victoria is so ready to walk…but she is reckless. (Not nearly the cautious child our first-born is.)

This child is going to have a lot of bumps and bruises as she starts careening around the house, but the Juppy is helping us to teach her better balance…safely.

Order your own Juppy! You can get a blue, pink, or black one, fully lined for $29.95 each, or you can get the original black for only $14.95.

That look so cool. I have horrible back pain as well and this looks like a life saver.
Is there a difference in the black and the colored ones? because the black one is super affordable!!

I believe the only difference is that the black one is not fully lined. I don’t see how that would be a problem, though, so I would go for it!

I like that you don’t have to hold the child’s hands. I don’t have back problems, but I hate that your kids arms are always up in the air. Can’t be good for their shoulders! Plus, when/if they fall, it jerks their little wrists and elbows if you are holding their hand.

This is an interesting concept. I’m not sure that I am in favor of it. It seems that the baby might miss opportunities to learn how to control their balance
