(Hurry, the Fluffy Butts event ends Friday, June 15th!)

We’ve been using our Kushies XP Pocket Diaper for a few months now and loving it. It’s taken awhile for Victoria (19 months) to really grow into it (size Large). While it fits in the waist and especially in the rise better than most, (if not all,) of our diapers, we’ve found the leg openings to be a little large for her.

This hasn’t been much of a problem except when trying to use it overnight, it tends to leak a bit. I think I would also have troubles with blow-outs with her and this diaper if she was still having that kind of poo.

We have “bean-pole” kids, so I’m thinking that the the XP Diaper would be perfect for the chunky-monkeys out there, who’s mamas struggle with finding diapers that don’t fit too tightly in that area.

I love the softness of the waterproof outer layer on this diaper. The whole diaper is made for optimum comfort, with soft elastic leg openings, a nice wide waistband piece and the super-soft fabrics, both inside and out.

Kushies XP Pocket Diaper features a fully adjustable hook & loop closure system for a perfect fit every time. The diaper’s soft and supple waterproof cover provides supreme comfort and flexibility. Gentle contoured leg elastics keep messes contained and a thick and thirsty microfleece insert is included for ultimate absorbency. The stay dry microfleece inner layer helps baby feel dry, cool and comfortable.

The Kushies XP Pocket Diaper comes in 6 beautiful colors and retails for $18.99-$24.49, depending on size:

We have a chunky monkey. I have never tried a Kushies diaper, but looking at the adjustable aplix makes me want to try a girlie color!

Kushies is one of the top brands on my list of diapers to try. I love their designs and they look like they fit very well. That orange is my favorite color of this style…it’d compliment my little ginger baby!

Kushies were the first cloth diaper I ever tried! They were sized diapers that a friend’s baby had outgrown, so they were on loan to us to ‘experiment with this crazy cloth diapering’!!! This brings back memories :)

This looks like an improvement over Kushies older style cloth diapers. Those ones did not work all that great but this looks much more trim.

We haven’t tried Kushies yet, but I would love to add another sized diaper to our stash. I like our one size diapers, but it is really hard to find ones that aren’t too bulky for our 4 month old. Sized diapers allow all her cute little pants to fit:)

We haven’t tried these yet, but I would love to try them! We’ve focused mostly on one size diapers, so sized diapers would be nice to add to our stash :)

I have not heard about this cloth diaper brand before, but would like to try sized diapers. Sometimes OS diapers are too bulky for under clothes.

The closures on this diaper are so clean — I love the lines. I’ve never tried Kushies and this post really makes me want to!

I actually like the look of the aplix on this diaper. I usually avoid aplix, just cause snaps are cuter! But I wouldn’t mind this one :)

We have a few older Kushies but I had no idea that they had pocket diapers. I have found that the Kushies are one of my husband’s favorites because they are so easy to use but I love the pocket diapers that we have. These might just be the diaper that we both agree on.

I love the lack of bulk in the middle which makes for a trimmer diaper.

I know this makes me seem dumb, but in the aplix vs snap debate, I never thought of the fact that aplix is much more adjustable…thanks for the review–I am pretty sure our family will be using pocket diapers…we’l have to add a Kushies to the stash.

I was not a big fan of their older style but these look a bit better. Love the colours but I do wish they would have added some elastic to the back waist.

Sounds like something I need to try … I have a little chunky-monkey and I hate the red marks some diapers leave on him.
