Letters to Nana

by Mama Chocolate on February 29, 2012

Nana sends the girls little letters, cards and other fun things in the mail now and then and Katie loves it! She’s starting to grasp the idea of mail, and I realized that it was time to start sending letters back to Nana! She needs something to decorate her fridge, right? ;-)

Look at this kid! She looks so grown-up in this picture, not like my little baby anymore! *sniff*
Only a month until she’s 3 years old. How did that go by so fast?

The walk to our mail box is quite a trek, but we found a sunny day and headed out. Katie was ecstatic when the neighbor’s horse responded to her call!

What do you do to keep up with long-distance grandparents? I would love to hear your ideas!

I love this posting, you see as we are praying about moving away….one of the hardest thoughts for me is leaving our Granddaughter Faith :( I have a little more hope that I can still share in her life when we do move. Katie is so beautiful!! Yes it does go fast. I know that in the midst you think yeah right…but I am here to say it goes so very fast! Even as a homeschooling Mommy it zoomed by and still does our “baby” is three and I can’t believe!
