I received the Holly Jolly Gift Pack, Santa’s Pick from Lovable Labels. I put a few of the labels to the test. There aren’t a whole lot of things that need to be labeled for my son as he doesn’t attend daycare, but he does sometimes go to the church nursery on Sundays so I labeled his sippy cups and his hoodie sweatshirt. I figured those would be the items that the labels would get the most abuse from in washing.
I was skeptical that the Press N Stick clothing dots would hold up through the washing machine, but they help up wonderfully. (see photo) I checked the edges all around and no lifting whatsoever. If anything, the label was stuck on better after washing and drying.
I also put the sippy cup through the dishwasher, and the label came out looking great as well (even though I am not so great at putting it on straight).
I think these labels are a fantastic idea especially for children who attend school or daycare often. They could save you a lot of money in the long run. I like how you are able to choose the picture you would like along with your child’s name and that they are very professional looking (much better than tape and permanent marker which is what I was using before).
You can choose from several packages offering several colors and labeling options for whatever you may need or want to label. They even have household labels! If you’re looking to label your children’s things I highly recommend starting off with the Holly Jolly, Santa Sampler, or the Starter Pack as you get the most “bang for your buck” that way. Even if you don’t need to use them all right away, inevitably there will be plenty of things you’ll want to label as time goes on and your children get older- especially if/once they head to school.
