I’d forgotten the sleep-deprived haze that settles over me during these first few weeks of a new baby in our house. Right now I’m focusing on simply surviving through each day with two busy toddlers and staying awake during each night with this sweet angel.
Elanora is a super-easy baby and very content, but thinks that 10pm is when we should start the party each night. I think she likes it when the house is finally quiet.
My inbox is bursting and I am way behind on picking winners and following up on prizes. Please be patient as we try to figure out our new normal. Naps are takingĀ precedentĀ over email right now…I miss the online world, but nothing compares to late-night newborn snuggles.

Going from two to three was a huge adjustment for me! And you’ll never get all of that sweet newborn time back. Enjoy!

Take your time. Family is more important than blogging, which is something I’m reminded of sometimes. Enjoy your babymoon.

I like that poem!
I don’t read your blog every day so this is the first time I’ve seen your new baby. She is beautiful! Congratulations. And, like others have said, enjoy that new baby. They grow oh so fast.
I remember how hard it was with just one toddler and a baby. Hang in there. Elanora is beautiful
