I was sent a jar of their Adirondack Wildflower Autumn Honey to review. I love using raw honey for the health benefits and love the taste!
I will admit that I didn’t care for the flavor of the Adirondack as much as other raw honeys I have eaten, but I think perhaps it was just the variety. It is primaraly derived from goldenrod flowers, and it had an odd strong aftertaste.
I’m sure the buckwheat or apple, or any of the others would probably be more to my liking…besides my personal preference, however, the honey was great! The texture was good, and my husband didn’t have the same issue with the flavor that I did.
I ended up using most of it in my Departure Trail Mix Bars, and it was perfect. The aftertaste that I didn’t care for was completely absent when mixed with the other ingredients!
