Spring has Sprung! {finally!}

by Mama Chocolate on April 25, 2012

Here in the drippy, wet northwest, we’ve finally been getting some nice weather! Sunday and Monday especially were beautiful and warm and I am SO ready to be done with the rain!

Of course, even after our sunshiney, bright, 80-degree day on Monday…today it’s cold and raining again.

*sigh*

I want to get my garden tilled up and ready, so I can start planting!┬áBut every day we have a chance to do it, it rains…

The joys of Oregon Springs. ;-)

Oh, I know!

This past weekend my tulips were blooming and we worked on the front yard, hauling brush, etc. I only did about an hour of clearing the garden and trimming back the herbs and with the threat of rain my husband won’t till up the plot. Blech… I am dying to get my seedlings in the ground. Anything special you will be planting this year?

BEAUTIFUL picture! Our weather has been awesome here lately… and today, especially! We took Kynlee outside earlier while she was still in her pajamas just so she could run around and play for a bit! :)

So pretty!! And crazy the differences in weather…Ugh, I’d love some rain. We had our first 100 degree day last Saturday, with a record breaking 105 on Sunday. Gotta love AZ! BUT, we hear we’re getting rain tomorrow… Can’t wait!! Logan (my 7 year old) said it’s God’s gift to us, since summer is coming soon. :)

I would get totally sick of the rain too. I don’t blame you a bit, but the flowers are definitely cheery!

I miss Spring in the PacWest. I remember the crocus coming up in February. Here flowers don’t start popping out until April/May. LOL
