Today is International Homebirth Day!
You probably already know I’m pretty passionate about homebirth, and I love reading birth stories.
I like writing them, too, and can’t wait to find out how this third birth goes for me (in just 10ish weeks!) and to tell you all about it!

Katie’s birth was amazing and pretty close to what I’d call an “ideal birth” (ideal for me.) ;-)

Although still a very satisfactory experience overall, Victoria was much more stubborn about coming into the world and made my life a little too interesting for several hours…
To celebrate International Homebirth Day, (and cause I’m a birth-story junkie!) I am asking you to share your homebirth stories today!
Link up your blog posts below. It doesn’t even have to be an actual birth story, just any blog post related to homebirth – I can’t wait to read the submissions!
(Feel free to link-up as many posts as you want)

I have never done it at home and sometime in the next week I will be birthing in the hospital, so I applaud any woman who can birth at home. What an amazing and scary thing!

I would totally share mine but I don’t have a blog and don’t otherwise know how!!
I think you could write it in a Facebook note and (if you want) make it private and only visible to people you choose (tag.) I’ve seen people do something like that before. I would love to read your’s, Julia!
Hmmm, let me look into that!
I’m not sure how to do this, so I’m just going to add the link, but here is my son’s home birth. story! Both of my kids were born at home and both experiences were quite different. Hope you enjoy this video!
