Yesterday was our first excursion to the pool this summer! It was wonderful to get out of the heat and even more fun to take my baby with me!
My normal wrap would get much too stretchy in the water, but the Water Wrap Carrier one has a two-way stretch instead of a four-way stretch, so it won’t get too loose when wet.
It was great to have both hands free in the pool, not to mention my arms didn’t get tired. Of course I couldn’t dive or swim around with a baby attached, but I can’t usually anyway when looking after my other children.
It’s made out of mesh polyester jersey for air flow. I put it on the same way as my other wrap, and it is just as comfortable… maybe even more so in the heat! It was perfect for the water, but it’s also nice for if you need to wear your baby on a hot summer day. The mesh is so breathable it makes it quite comfortable.
Calvin (5 months) was unfazed by his first pool experience, and contentedly sat there and sucked on it. I guess that’s his mark of approval.

Having taken all four of our kids to the pool (just me and my husband) I can tell you, this would have been handy. We all made it out alive, but this could have saved some gray hairs, I’m sure!
