Maybe I’m just a little obsessed with owls these days, but I find this sweet little baby toy by Wild Rose Herbs so adorable!
This little guy was custom-made for my girls by Ash at Wild Rose Herbs. She even did felted, baby-safe eyes on our owl instead of the usual buttons so that I didn’t have to worry about choking hazards!
Besides being insanely cute, this little dude has been infused with a baby-safe aromatherapy blend of lavender & grapefruit oils, and he smells amazing!
He’s handmade, baby-safe, cuddly, cute, and smells awesome. What more could you want?
An owl family? **squee!**
See? It’s not just me. Katie loves him too!
We had a difficult time at first getting her to share with Victoria…
Wild Rose Herbs also sent me a jar of their Wild Child Baby Bum Balm.
“Calendula and Yarrow soothe sensitive skin, prevent infection and treat skin problems. A baby-safe dilution of Lavender Oil relieves irritation and calm’s baby’s nerves.* Suspended in a base primarily made of Sweet Almond Oil, a superior moisturizer that mimics your skin’s natural oils. Use this “dry” salve sparingly and it will leaves baby’s skin smooth and non-greasy. Traditionally used to treat rashes, eczema, scrapes, bruises, dry skin and general fussiness.”
Poor Victoria (11 months) is constantly struggling with diaper rashes. I am still trying to figure out what is causing it. I’m almost certain it’s a food that her body doesn’t like, but I can’t seem to pin it down yet.
In the mean time, she keeps getting rashes and nasty, open sores so bad that I keep having to put her into disposables, (thank goodness for Bambo!)
Sometimes, I’m putting her in the disposables just to help keep the moisture off her little bum, but also because so many diaper creams are not cloth-diaper-safe! The greasy creams and ointments that I have used in the past will not completely wash out of cloth diapers and cause them to start repelling, (leaks galore!)
I am happy to say that Baby Bum Balm is entirely cloth diaper safe. The oils in it have washed out of my diapers beautifully, and it soaks into the skin so well, that I don’t think much of it is getting onto the diapers to start with!
The Baby Bum Balm is not as great of a moisture barrier as some creams I have used, but I am much happier with it all around than any cream/lotion/ointment I have used before.
My absolute favorite part? When it gets on my hands, I can just rub it right in for extra moisturizer for me! I hate the gooey creams that get all over my fingers and nails and on Victoria’s active little hands and feet in the diaper-changing process that have to be wiped off.
Baby Bum Balm just gets rubbed right in and my baby gets a mini-massage thrown in.
At the competitive price of $14.99/4oz, I can highly recommend using this for your little one’s behind!

Ugh, diaper rashes are the worst… That’s why we had to stop cloth with Connor until he got older. I never did find a cloth diaper safe rash cream that worked, and I was so bummed! I may have to try this! =) Also love that you can rub it in your hands! Yay!
And that owl… ADORABLE!!

I like knowing the products I use are from nature. : )
Such a cute little owl!
I Love Lavender. Thank you. Jerri Davis
These sounds wonderful & I can’t imagine more soothing aromas!
I would love to try this on my and dd’s eczema! I am still looking for something that will do more than just keep the itchies away for a little while!
I want to try this cream on my dry skin.
I love using products from nature to help heal my self and helping others benefit from these products. I know several babies that could benefit from the aroma therapy owl
This balm sounds great. I see that it has calendula and yarrow, which are very soothing.

How awesome to get such cute little (useful!) loveys like the Owl! And the balm looks fantastic. My toddler started getting rashes when he turned one and it has been a constant battle ever since. I’m grateful that she’s potty training because nothing we have done has helped. Of course, we didn’t try Wild Rose! We have our second due in September, and now I’ll be looking into this!
Wow, how cute and he smelled like lavender, which is my very favorite scent of all time! I am constantly amazed at how people come up with all of these ideas! I have no talent whatsover!

I love lavender oil and am always looking for a good baby butt product–little guy has super-sensitive skin.
I have tried a lot of different rash balms and creams. This one sounds a little different because of the almond oil base.

This would be perfect for my dry skin!
my boys get rashes easily too and we use cloth, and I hate creams, they actually make the rashes worse on my kids…
