Wild Rose Herbs - Wild Man Beard Conditioner Review

You already know how much I love Wild Rose Herbs…

I still regularly use the Baby Bum Balm for Victoria, when she gets a rash, (she’s going through a nasty one right now after eating something that didn’t agree with her!)

I’ve tried several different diapers ointments or creams, and it’s still by far my favorite: it’s cloth diaper safe, gentle for baby and made locally from all-natural ingredients.

I should qualify, if the man in your life has a beard. Recently, my wife asked me to give “Wild Man” beard conditioner a try, which I was a bit skeptical…at first.

I am not a finicky kind of guy, and don’t use a dozen different hair products. But I do work in a high profile industry where image is everything, and having a beard is considered unusual, which means meticulous attention to detail in my dress and appearance is paramount. I have a near religious personal grooming routine that I intentionally follow every day. With that being said, I was willing to try a product that was celebrated for its beard-enhancing qualities.

Wild Man Beard Conditioner is made up of Sweet Almond Oil, Vitamin E, essential oils including: Rosemary, Lavender, Cedar, and Lime. The product comes is a classy bottle, and smells cunningly manly, without question. This is not your typical hair conditioner as it is meant to be left in your beard; and it increases the natural colors of the beard. It really only requires a few drops, which leaves the beard feeling smooth and enhances the shape by preventing imperfections caused by wild hairs. In addition, it continues to encourage a thick, clean, and healthy growth.

I personally have half inch side burns that run into the rest of my beard which is 2-3 inches in length. Subsequently, it is not uncommon to feel like I need to comb my beard periodically; however when I use this conditioner I rarely feel the need to comb it back into shape. It stays put.

As mentioned earlier, I was skeptical at first. I purposely experimented applying the conditioner on days I knew I would have high profile meetings; and noted the amount of compliments I received on my beard. I had one associate comment that I must be eating really healthy because my beard was so striking.

It only took a few experiences like this to make a believer out of me. That may sound cliché, but I do not give praise to anything or anybody unless I truly think it is founded; and I have been growing and maintaining a healthy beard for the last 10 years.

But other than precision grooming I had never used any products in my beard. I have received more compliments on my beard in the last several weeks than I have ever received. This product deserves a try for anyone who takes pride in their beard.

Mama Chocolate’s input: I love the way his beard looks and SMELLS when he’s wearing this. He probably likes it so much just ’cause it makes me wanna kiss him more often. He’s almost out, so we’re ordering the huge refill bottle, which will keep him supplied for awhile, since he wants to use it regularly now.
